I attended the blessing and opening of Merci Pasalubong Treats at the Iloilo Airport yesterday (Dec. 19, 2011) together with other members of the Iloilo Bloggers organization. Many thanks to Mr. James Toga, the president of the Negros Bloggers, for the invite!
The top executives of CM & Sons Food Products (which owns the ‘Merci’ brand) as well as Cabatuan Mayor Bob Maroma and Iloilo Provincial Tourism Director Bombette Marin were on hand for the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony. After the formalities were over, the guests were treated to a lavish spread.
This is the 27th branch of Merci nationwide, and the second here in Iloilo. It is conveniently located at the 3rd floor, Pre-Departure Lobby, Passenger Terminal Building of the Iloilo airport. The favorable location makes it extremely accessible for travelers to stop by and grab some treats to take home to their loved ones.
Merci Pasalubong Treats also adds another big PLUS for their airport customers with their Travel Plus Promo, which automatically offers a 10% discount on all their products just by presenting their tickets.
Merci, meaning “Thank You” in French, is the market brand of CM & Sons Food Products that started in 1995. For 16 years, Merci has produced quality products from its breads, pastries, delicacies, short order meals, and even purified drinking water.
These are now available in different branches and dealers in the Negros Island, Iloilo, Tuguegarao City, Zamboanga City, Manila, Cebu, and Panay. Merci products also reach as far as Canada, USA, and other parts of the world.
